Hey John,
The whole idea of sweeping a woman off her feet is the at the very core of why men are unsuccessful with women. It implies that the woman is worth everything and a man should do everything in his power to get her. The only time this works is if she is already in love with you. If she is not sure then all of the attention is overwhelming and comes off needy.
A strong confident man has his choice of women and doesn’t need to obsess over one woman. He doesn’t decide a woman is perfect for him and instead tries to find out if she is right for him. He finds out who she is and based on what he finds out about her he starts to show more interest.
Men successful with women never sweep women off their feet, that is reserved for the movies. A man seduces a woman’s heart with strength and confidence in who he is and finding out if she is attractive to him on many levels and up to his standards.

I disagree completely. I have swept many women off their feet, and there is nothing needy about it. The key to sweeping a woman off her feet is to build a bubble for the two of you. In that bubble there is only you and her. The two of you build a connection by focusing on each other, not on the distractions of the world around you.
That is sweeping her off her feet. When the two of you separate (e.g. you go home because the date is over) she will think about you and the wonderful connection you two had. My girl once told me (after we had been dating a couple of weeks) “I spent an hour yesterday just lying on my bed thinking about you and feeling all tingly. My god, how do you DO that?”

The commonly held idea of sweeping a girl off her feet is a “gesture” that you do that will win her heart. You are correct in saying what you are doing does win the heart of a woman. It just isn’t the commonly held idea of sweeping a girl off her feet.
Images of roses and fancy dates, smooth lines, and gifts come to mind when most people think of sweeping a girl off her feet. This is the wrong way to do it.
The right way is to build an intense emotional connection where when you look into each others eyes everything else in the world disappears. That is what you are talking about and I agree.
And doing it is not that difficult. You have to be expressive and create and intense emotional connection by finding out who she is and relating who you are while connecting how you both feel about things. This blog and what I teach is based entirely around that concept. Creating an intense emotional connection where she will feel she has never met anyone like you. She feels validated and understood and more so she knows you feels the same about the important things to her.
Whether you are doing this over a hot dog on the street corner or in a 5 star restaurant that is the important thing to capture a woman’s heart.

Most men still don’t understand how women work! All you need to do to sweep a woman is to listen and plan…..
If a woman tells you she enjoys something then plan to take her somewhere that reflects that…
Women like thoughtful gestures! Don’t take her somewhere because that’s where you want to go!
If your not prepared to try then you may as well be single!
